This year's Broadcast Video Expo (BVE) ran from February 15-17 in Earl's Court, London. The annual gathering of the predominantly British, but also international, broadcast scene attracted a record number of visitors this year, with the high attendance level more than evident at the RTS/TELEX booth: "Our booth was outstandingly well visited throughout the fair," reports Adrian Richmond, RTS/TELEX Sales Manager UK & Republic of Ireland. But it was not only the quantity but also the quality of the discussions that delighted Richmond: "The level of interest shown by the specialist public in our new products was exceptional. Visitors to the booth were particularly impressed by our new compact (3U) matrix ADAM-M. And no wonder, since in combination with MADI-16 Plus, the ADAM-M can be configured with up to 256 ports. No other matrix in its class has more to offer."
The new versions of the popular Zeus III matrix being presented at Earl's Court, Zeus III LE and Zeus III LE+, were also outstandingly well received. "These are primarily intended for smaller-scale applications," explains Richmond. "Both offer sixteen ports and two party-line channels, with the LE+ boasting in addition the same dual redundant power supply as the Zeus III itself."
Kamil Swobodzinski, Sales Director RTS/TELEX EMEA, drew a positive balance from the fair: "The BVE is steadily growing in importance," he says. "Increasingly, it is becoming an indicator of the European broadcast market. Our expectations were more than satisfied: interested customers, a positive response from the press, new products and good feedback."
