Burnsville, MN, September 29, 2014: Telex Radio Dispatch is pleased to announce the introduction of two new interfaces for its C-Soft console – the industry’s most capable, flexible, and scalable software-based dispatch console.

The addition of the brand-new SDC (Sprint Direct Connect) interface and the new, enhanced MOTOTRBO interface to the C-Soft software suite allows users to take full advantage of their investment in either or both platforms by allowing efficient and user-friendly RoIP operation via the Telex IP-224 Ethernet adapter panel – the heart of the Telex Radio Dispatch solution.

The SDC interface allows direct two-way radio communications with other units in a talk group or direct calling of another SDC device. This is achieved by connecting the IP-224 with the SDC interface option enabled to an AdvanceTec AdvanceBridge device.

The MOTOTRBO interface allows direct two-way radio communications with other units in their assigned talk group(s) or direct calls to an individual in MOTOTRBO IP Site Connect, Capacity Plus, Link Capacity Plus, or Connect Plus systems. It also incorporates GPS and text messaging (except Connect Plus) along with emergency alerting. This is achieved by connecting the IP-224 with the MOTOTRBO Interface option enabled to a MOTOTRBO control station.

Key Features:

  • SDC interface supports group call, individual call, and call alert, and allows users to fully utilize SDC system features while maintaining a familiar user experience from the previous NEXTEL/iDEN solution
  • SDC Status of service and notification – monitors connection to cellular system
  • MOTOTRBO interface supports all MTRBi functions while adding bi-directional text messaging as an additional communication option
  • Contact Keypad – Search user radio or Group ID(s) at the touch of a button – allowing faster connections to the correct person
