Telex sells antenna assets to Associated Industries
Lincoln, NE - Telex Communications, Inc. has agreed to sell assets related to its military antenna business line to Associated Industries North Hollywood, CA. The deal which included current materials and tooling was completed February 5, 2008. No Telex associates will be transferred to Associated Industries as a part of this transaction. Terms of the agreement will not be released.
Telex will continue to operate its commercial antenna business providing custom and off the shelf solutions for OEM customers and system integrators across both licensed and unlicensed frequency bands.
Associated Industries, in business since 1946, is a distributor, manufacturer and supplier of Military Tactical Communication and Support Equipment to the US, Canada and International Defense markets. Associated Industries will continue the production of these antennas at Associated’s manufacturing facilities in North Hollywood, CA.
